Backup digital camera photos
"I lost some photo files which I had uploaded from my digital camera . They were saved as .jpg files or maybe as .ppd files in my transfer, under Documents and Settings, in Windows XP , on my PC . Thinking they were perfectly safe, I deleted them from my camera. Later, I was cleaning out some things like my internet cache, running History Kill, defragmenting, and performing a disk clean-up. Imagine my shock when I discovered that I had lost those temporary photo files . I should have uploaded them to my online photo album right away so that they would have been safely kept there. Next time, I will make sure not to run any clean-up applications before I know where my photos are! "
